    ​Asharqia Chamber and "Human Resources" sign a memorandum of cooperation to employ girls with special needs in the decoration sector​

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women's Works and Centers Committee and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Branch represented by the Emiratisation Department, signed a memorandum of cooperation to support the employment of deaf girls with disabilities in the decoration and beauty sector and to provide all the requirements of this matter such as training and passing the issue of empowerment.

    The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abd al-Hakim bin Hamad al-Ammar al-Khaldi, and the Director-General of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Branch in the Eastern Province, Abd al-Rahman bin Fahd al-Muqbil. The memorandum aims to discover the talents of deaf girls with disabilities, to support them and refine their skills, and provide job opportunities New to them in the beautification and beauty sector in the workshops and centers in the Eastern Province, and work to integrate these girls into society through training that ends with employment, according to the evaluation of the type of disability.

    The signing ceremony was attended by the Chamber's Secretary-General, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, the Assistant Director-General for the Human Resources Sector at the Ministry’s branch, Mohammed Al-Atrash, the Director of the Emiratisation Department at the Ministry’s branch, Fahd Al-Zoubi, and the Chairman of the Council of the Association of Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Their Families, Riyadh Al-Sheikh.

    During the signing ceremony that took place on Monday 12 April 2021 at the Ministry's branch in Dammam, the head of the Women's Works and Centers Committee in the Asharqia Chamber, Shuaa Al-Duhailan, expressed a firm conviction among all of the importance of caring for the deaf group with their abilities, competencies, and talents, which requires work to provide what befits that category To reach the merit at work and develop talents by refining skills.

    Al-Duhailan referred to the Saudi young woman, Manal Al-Azouri, who is from the deaf category who participated in a global competition held annually at the World Youth Business Organization in Britain, where she entered the global competition with her project for a shop for designing women's clothes, makeup and purifying the skin, which enhances conviction and faith in the creativity of that category that is distinguished by various talents And then launching support, empowerment, and assistance to reach the integration of this group, especially girls, and gives them full right to work and practice their hobbies according to their capabilities.​
